We will take a step by step approach to ensure you leave with valuable tools and plenty of encouragement to begin writing your first novel.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

Angela Jackson - Angela is an award-winning writer, a former psychology lecturer, and creative writing tutor. Her debut novel, The Emergence of Judy Taylor, won Edinburgh International Book Festival’s First Book Award, and reached #1 in Comic Fiction on Amazon. Her second novel, The Darlings, was published in 2021. She’s also written and performed two one-woman shows and stand-up sets at Edinburgh Fringe.

Dr Caroline Copeland - Caroline is an editor who works with new and established writers and has over thirty years’ experience in the publishing industry. She also lectures in publishing and creative writing. Caroline’s written two novels, both of which were longlisted for the 2022 PageTurner Awards, and two children’s books. Her non-fiction has featured in magazines and academic journals.

Purchase your booking reservation and provide contact details. Please indicate at time of purchasing your £150 reservation place whether you would prefer a private or shared room. We will work with you to get the best accommodation to suit your needs Ahead of paying your balance. Balance is required to be paid 8 weeks before event.

Cancellation policy

Full refund of reservation fee within 4 weeks of booking less £25 admin fee.

No refunds within 8 weeks of event. However, we will try to resell your space. If we sell your space we will refund full fee less £50 admin fee.

Please insure your retreat as you would with normal holiday insurance.
