The Free Black Women's Library & Ancestors in Training
presents
Writing with the Ancestors
Sunday, November 3rd
3PM - 4.30PM

In Writing with the Ancestors, attendees will be guided on how to foster a relationship with their elevated ancestors and experience healing through a writing practice.
Offered for the first time in-person, we'll ground in the energies of the powerful holidays of Day of the Dead, Fet Gede, and All Hallows Eve, to honor that this moment of the year is of deep significance across many communities.
Participants will receive a digital journal with bonus prompts to support their journey as Ancestors in Training after the event. Attendees will also receive the additional resources, including the slide deck, and Ancestors in Training Syllabus, after the gathering.

Faciltator's Bio:
Veronica Agard (Ifáṣadùn Fásanmí) (she/her) is a poet, writer, community educator, and connector at the intersections of Black identity, wellness, representation, and culture.
She experiments with creative healing modalities and puts theories learned into practice. She curated the Who Heals the Healer series and the conference of the same name and facilitates the Ancestors in Training educational project. A joy defender and space holder for over 10 years, she wants to be remembered as a force of nature who created sites of healing.
