Join a circle of brave women who write the truth about their lives, then share it out loud.
Imagine 7 women open their journals to page 24 and read it to you, unedited. Imagine the intimacy and trust you’d feel. “Writing to Exhale” feels kind of like that. And you can be one of those women.
I’ll bring prompts that spark your creativity, and we’ll write side-by-side. Our writing will be like us: Real. Unpolished. Beautiful. True. Profound.
Writing and sharing might sound vulnerable and scary. (And it is.) Why would you sign up for this?
Because something creative is simmering in you.
Because you want to hear your intuition speak through the pen.
Because you might remember the first time you wore red lipstick.
Because being heard feels like being loved.
Because for two hours, you’re free to say anything.
Because others’ words and stories move you.
Because you’ll practice bravery. You’ll feel the boil of fear and move through it.
Because you get to hold a mug of chamomile tea and meet new friends.

What you need to know:
Just bring you (and a notebook if you want). I’ll bring some cool poems and inspiration. We’ll write and share 3 times. No critiques.

Meet your instructor:
Erinn is a college writing instructor who has been teaching in the Kansas City area for over 15 years. She facilitates therapeutic writing, retreat writing, and creative writing workshops. She’s also a certified personal trainer (just for fun).
Erinn believes people feel better when they let their words out, so she loves creating the conditions for those words to flow freely onto the page. She brings a relaxed, write-as-you-are vibe to her workshops and classes.
She enjoys solo travel, lay-flat journals, kayaking, balsamic glaze on anything, the smell of new tennis balls, and lingering in the poetry section of bookstores.
