After registering, we will notify folks that have a space in the workshop and those that may be on the waiting list.
For those that are confirmed, participants will meet at Chaucer's Books to check-in and then the group will walk to CoreSports' Wellness Center (by Harry's) for the workshop itself.
Patricia Fancher, PhD is a researcher, writer, and teacher based in Santa Barbara, CA. She teaches creative writing and digital storytelling at UCSB. She lives on the west side with her cat and her garden. The garden is struggling and her cat is obsessed with her. https://www.pfancher.com/
Jenna Tico is a multi-disciplinary artist and ninth-generation Santa Barbarian. A longtime nonprofit professional and group facilitator, she is passionate about offering spaces for the intersection of art and healing, and currently hosts a monthly true storytelling series called Backbone. Her first full-length memoir, Cancer Moon: How I Survived the Best Years of My Life is out 9/17/24 via She Writes Press. She lives in Samarkand with her husband, son, and extremely fickle cat.
