About this Event

Join us for this FREE Creative Writing course for adults aged 19+

Build your confidence and express yourself through creative writing on this fun and friendly course. You will explore different topics each week to help you focus, express your thoughts, and gain mental clarity. It is a relaxed and safe space where writing becomes a positive way to relieve stress, boost memory, and see things in new ways. You will improve your writing skills and, if you feel comfortable, you can choose to share your work with others. Each week, we will explore a new theme, such as creating characters, nature, or hobbies.

Ideal for people new to writing.

Course runs for 5-weeks.

Venue

This course takes place at Exeter Community Centre.

Times and Attendance

Class takes place Tuesdays from January 14 to February 11, 2025.

We start at10:30am and finish at 12:30. There will be a short break so please feel free to bring your own refreshments, or there is a lovely cafe onsite selling hot drinks and snacks.

You will be required to complete an Exeter College Registration Form at the first session.

Commitment: we ask that learners try to commit to the full 5-week course to enable everyone to get the most from the sessions.

Courses are popular and we run a waiting list on our Eventbrite courses. Please cancel your place on Eventbrite or advise us if you are no longer able to attend the course so we can offer your place to somebody else. Should we not hear from you, we will release your ticket to the waitlist in week 2 of the course.
