Do you want people to take action to solve a problem? Do you have a perspective that could help your neighbors approach a community issue in a new way?
Do you have a reflection about the state of the world that you think is missing from the current conversation?
Learn the basics of opinion and commentary writing — from conceptualization to pitching to publication — with WyoFile's deputy managing editor, Tennessee Watson.
Not sure what you want to write about? No problem. All that's required for this workshop is an open mind and a desire to learn.
The skills covered in this workshop will also benefit people writing cover letters, college essays and grant applications.
Tennessee Watson is WyoFile’s deputy managing editor. In addition to her own journalism career, both of her parents were journalists, so reporting and editing have been a part of Tennessee's life since birth. Before WyoFile, she was a public radio reporter, documentary maker and media arts educator.
