An in-person and online writing support group for ALL writers!
About this Event

Calling all writers—of any level of experience: Are you ready to make a weekly commitment to your writing? Join Writing Buddies! This in-person and online writing group is intended to be friendly, affordable, encouraging, and inspiring.

Writing Buddies runs from 2/26 – 4/2, with two in-person meetings and five meetings on Zoom. At the first in-person meeting, each member of the cohort will share their intentions and goals, which will help us all stay accountable. Participants will work toward their individual goals over the next five Saturday morning Zoom sessions with weekly prompts and check-ins. The final week, we will reconvene in-person for a reading and celebration!

Schedule:

  • Wednesday, February 26: 6:00 – 7:30 pm in-person at Bookends & Beginnings
  • Saturdays, March 1 – March 29: 10:00 am -12:00 pm online
  • Wednesday, April 2: 6:00 – 7:30 pm in person at Bookends & Beginnings

Enrollment in Writing Buddies is limited to 15 writers. Tuition for the course is $50.

Writing Buddies will be moderated by Bookends University programming director Jeremy T. Wilson.

Jeremy T. Wilson is the author of the novel The Quail Wears the Shirt and the short story collection Adult Teeth.
