About this Event
So you’ve always wanted to write a book? Or you’ve always written something— stories, letters, a journal, but don’t know what to do with the writing? Perhaps there is a story you’ve always wanted to tell? This session will provide information and strategies on identifying yourself as a writer, getting rid of the critics (inner and outer), identifying your writing process, and making time and space for your writing. We’ll explore these topics through discussion, writing exercises, and sharing work.
Bring your favorite writing tools, whether electronic or mechanical.
Paper and pens/pencils will be available as back up.
Bio: Ellen Higgins, Ph.D., author and writing instructor, has been teaching writing for over 30 years, including a Writing Workshop for the Bethlehem Central Schools Adult Ed program since 2007. She has also taught yoga/meditation and water safety and fitness classes.
