Cross-Posting: Register through the library HERE
Join us for a joint program with the Jacksonville Public Library as part of their Writer’s Lab Series! We love supporting the library and their programming. This workshop will help you jumpstart your writing practice.
Whether you are an experienced writer or are interested in finding your voice again through writing, finding the inspiration to write can get bogged down in your goals for your work, schedule demands, or your expectations or insecurities.
Explore the use of a writing circle as a means of setting either your goals or your reluctance aside for awhile, and simply write together in community. The use of poetry and prose as prompts encourages your mind to roam freely, sparking new ideas and a depth of expression within you that becomes a potent means of self-care. And sharing your words in community together becomes a source for new and potent inspiration.
Register soon—seats are limited! This course is open to all library card holders of any gender. Facilitator: Mary Moore, certified facilitator for Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville. We hope to see you, at this circle and at one of our other upcoming classes and events this fall! More details avaialble on our website: www.womenwritingjax.org
