About this Event
Talk Story Collective presents our monthly FREE one-day writing workshop!! **note that our previous workshops have been at Govenors Island but September will be held at a different location in Brooklyn!**
Our September Writer's Workshop will be led by our incredible duo Bianca Bennett (a writer and seasoned volunteer employee of the Natural History Mueseum) and Keali'i Thoene (a writer/naturalist). In honor of Environmental Awareness Month, we will explore themes of our relationships to nature and how to co-exist with ʻāina, wai, and kai ethically.
This workshop is indeed FREE and no previous writing experience is required! Just a hunger for engagement and community
Date: Saturday, August 23rd, 2025Time: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pmLocation: General location is near the Green-wood Cemetery. Exact address will be sent via email upon registration.
