November 15- 7pm-9pmInstructor - Christy Felton
*The workshop will be an exploration of how we can use perspective and different points of view to communicate in a meaningful way. We will explore how our views change with age, and exercises in different techniques to express perspectives.*
Please be aware: 7:00 PM - In honor of the passing of David Bailey – the first activity we will do as a warmup in play 3 rounds of Dice-Ku.
Because this isn’t directly related to the workshop it will start right at 7:00 and run until 7:15 as people are filtering in.
Christy Felton (she/her) was born a force of nature. She is a community leader that has help to run the Poetry/Writing Program at the Firehouse since 2015. She has served on the Board of Directors at the Firehouse. Volunteering saved her life, and she encourages everyone to try it. She holds a BA in English with a Creative Writing emphasis form Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Christy is an extrovert.
She loves words, art, people, her fur babies, her partner, her family, good food, traveling, snowboarding, snorkeling, wearing excessive sparkles, and hiking on very flat trails. She has been known to take a whole pizza out on her paddleboard for dinner. She likes weird stuff and interesting people. She wants to know what you love and why.
Mostly she wants you to know: The Firehouse is and will be a safe space for all people including but not limited to POC, LGBTQA+, other abled, and deliciously different. Love, Christy
