About this Event
Every story begins with a hero. But heroes are rarely who they think they are.
They want something. They believe something.
And often, the thing they are chasing is not the thing they truly need.
In this workshop we explore the inner architecture of your hero: their problems, wants, needs, and blind spots. This session is an invitation to slow down and examine why heroes move the way they do, what they are protecting, and what they are afraid to lose. By understanding the deeper mechanics of story heroes, we gain clarity not only in what we read, but in what we write.
Stories do not change because heroes succeed. They change because heroes are challenged at their core.
What to Expect
First, we read.
Bring the book you are currently reading and spend one quiet hour in a shared presence.
Then, we write.
Through guided prompts you will explore your own heroes, fictional or real.
There is no pressure to share your work. This space is designed for exploration, reflection, and creative play. Curiosity leads. Perfection is not welcome.
The workshop is held in English, but you are welcome to write in any language that feels like home.
All forms and levels are welcome, including fiction, memoir, poetry, journaling, and hybrid writing.
