Have you ever thought about writing the story of your life? Is the reason you never put pen to paper because you weren’t sure how to start, or what to include and what to leave out?
If the answer to the above is a resounding YES, or even a tentative yes, then this series of four, 2-hour writing workshops, led by author and poet Gerry Boland, could be just what you’ve been waiting for. Gerry will help you get your memoir started, and he’ll offer advice individually and collectively over the course of the four Saturday mornings. There’ll be writing exercises and informal discussions and we’ll have a close look at some acclaimed memoirs to try to find out what makes them so good.
Gerry Boland is an author and a poet, with ten published books, the latest being his third collection of poems, All That Jazz. He has many years’ experience of leading writing workshops.
