Interested in bike mechanics but don’t know where to start? Maybe you have a bike and just can’t figure out where that squeaking sound is coming from? Wrench-Up is here to help!Wrench-Up is a two-part course that covers basic bike repair and maintenance. Over two three-hour sessions, we will teach basic mechanical principles and safety checks for bikes, basic brake repair, basic gear repair, and how to fix a flat tire.
This two-day session of Wrench-Up takes place January 23 and 24 from 2pm to 5pm each day. The cost for the course is $45, or $75 which includes a basic tool kit (bike pump, multitool, tire levers, patch kit, cycling handbook, and BWE pouch - $50 value!).
Social distancing and sanitizing of shared tools/surfaces will be in place, and all participants must wear a mask at all times. We will not be providing masks, so please remember to bring your own.
Spaces are limited in order to facilitate social distancing during the course. We are committed to making space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour), LGBTQ* (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Trans/Queer and Questioning/etc.), and other visible minorities in our community.
