Run by Heritage NSW, this internationally recognized program offers a unique opportunity to learn and contribute.

Here's the lowdown: The course spans two days and aims to equip passionate individuals like you to identify and document maritime sites in your area. And guess what? You don't even need to be a diver to participate!
Day one starts with an engaging seminar covering the evolution of maritime archaeology, archaeological principles, site recording techniques, and heritage management practices. All happening at Scuba Warehouse on May 11-12, 2024.
Day two is hands-on! You'll head out to the field to put your newfound knowledge to the test. And don't worry, it's a non-diving course, so all the action takes place at the water's edge and in shallow waters.
Leading the charge is the incredible maritime archaeologist Toni Massey, AIMA's Vice President, with support from Brad Duncan, NSW's Underwater Maritime Archaeologist.
