Hey everyone! Many of you attended the benefit in March as a celebration of Bryan’s life and our first fundraising event to support the Bryan Garneau scholarship fund at Greater Lowell Tech. The TREMENDOUS support allowed us to give $8,000 in scholarships to 4 kids, give $5,000 to a veterans group to help those in need, and now we’re ready for our last event for this year to honor Bryan’s charitable nature and keep his memory going.
Many years ago our friends Guy and Lori-Ann introduced us to the Wreaths Across America organization that puts wreaths on the graves of veterans. While Bryan wasn’t a veteran, he always wanted to join the military and admired those who served. You could always find him at various veteran centered benefits. I’m sure we all have seen a picture of his iconic American flag arm tattoo. 💕
This picture is at that event many years ago with him putting a wreath on his grandfather’s grave. That organization is not going to St. Joseph Cemetery where Bryan is resting so we would like to invite all of our friends and family (and anyone else that would like to come!) to help us cover this cemetery. We will provide 6-700 wreaths with the remaining funds we have. That will definitely not cover all of the veterans in the cemetery so if you can join us to help distribute our wreaths, and have the means to bring a 12 inch wreath with a red bow we would love to see you. If you can’t make it but would like to donate a wreath we can collect a 12 inch wreath with a red bow at the shop at East Coast Landscape Supply in Merrimack the week before.
If it’s nice out ride your bike! We know Bryan would. 😂
We will meet at 11am at Bryan’s grave. Just writing those words is killing me inside, but I know he’ll be there with us. 🙏🏻
