Attention: SSG Albert E. Moss Jr. VFW Post #7842 Auxiliary has again partnered with Wreaths Across America to participate in the annual laying of the wreaths on the gravesites of our departed Veterans.The 2025 National Wreaths Across America Day will be on Saturday, December 13th. The theme for 2025 is "Keep Moving Forward".
Ceremony begins at 11:30 with wreath placement beginning at Noon at the Linesville Cemetery. Parking will be at MFG (front building parking only) and St. Philip Church in Linesville with two shuttle busses running. Shuttle service starts at 9:30 and LAST shuttle to leave the parking lots will be 11:15. Volunteer(s) need to be in place by 11:45. ALL remaining Veteran wreaths not picked up by a volunteer will be handed out promptly at 11:30.
Those interested in volunteering please submit your name and group count to myself Danielle Riggs or Kathy Brubaker via Messenger so that you’re accounted for. Those with a Veteran preference please make that information known upon volunteering.
