Wreaths Across America began in 1992 when the Worcester Wreath Company donated surplus wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery, a tradition that gained national attention after a 2005 photo of the event went viral. This sparked a nationwide movement, leading to the official establishment of Wreaths Across America as a non-profit organization in 2007. Today, the organization holds ceremonies at thousands of locations to "Remember, Honor, and Teach" about veterans, with millions of volunteers participating annually
