Volunteers are Needed to disassemble the wreaths so the greens can be mulched and metal wreath frames recycled. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing to stay warm. Work gloves will be provided along with warm beverages.
Last month...850 Remembrance Wreaths were laid on the graves of Veterans at Green Lawn Cemetery. Wreaths Across America occurs every December and has become a tradition that honors & remembers those who served our country.
Meet at the cemetery office at 10:00am. Enter the cemetery gate at the west end of Greenlawn Avenue, then proceed around the traffic circle and stone office building is on your right.
Held in partnership with Green Columbus and City of Columbus.
