About this Event
Traditional Wreath Making Workshop
Morning Session: 9.30am to 12.30pm
Join us for a traditional eco-friendly wreath-making workshop! In this 3-hour session, you'll craft a beautiful wreath using natural materials responsibly foraged from our sustainably managed woods and hedgerows, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint. Unlike many floral suppliers who import materials from Holland, we use locally sourced components, including coppiced willow whips for the base.
You'll begin by forming your own hoop with the willow, then attach a variety of evergreen foliage, dried teasel heads, cones, and more using natural string. Our instructors will assist you through the entire process, allowing you to create an eco-friendly Christmas wreath to take home.
Throughout the workshop, enjoy a selection of teas, coffees, biscuits, and mince pies, and savor roasted Brimslade chestnuts by the log burner. The kettle will be on, so feel free to have a cuppa anytime!
