In "Wrapped in Plastic," we are taking a bold and innovative approach to studio photography by placing our model, Annie, in highly artificial environments. This workshop will use plastic to create unique and visually striking sets and wardrobes, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. The synthetic textures and reflective surfaces of the plastic will serve as the perfect backdrop to highlight Annie's features and expressions. This setup not only pushes the boundaries of conventional photography but also encourages participants to think outside the box and explore new creative horizons.A key focus of this workshop will be exploring the transparency and translucence of various plastic films. These properties open up a world of possibilities for creative lighting techniques. We'll experiment with different light sources and angles to see how they interact with the plastic, producing fascinating effects and moods. The goal is to use these unconventional materials to create stunning, ethereal images that stand out in your portfolio.
To ensure a personalized and in-depth learning experience, the workshop is limited to just 6 photographers. This small group setting allows for ample shooting time, one-on-one advice, and assistance from our mentor, Andrew Merefield. With his expertise and guidance, you'll gain valuable insights into both the technical and artistic aspects of working with artificial materials and creative lighting.
