Our monthly in-person sit down tastings offer a selection of six whiskies (1oz pours each) served with light snack tastes tasting notes great moderated conversation and LOTS of laughs along the way!
Six Bourbons and A Bonus! = One of the biggest differences between Irish Scotch and Bourbon is the time that Bourbon generally rests in the barrel Many of our most successful American brands are quite young at heart 4 years give or take generally designed for mixing with sodas or cocktail mixes. Older lines as standard expressions came to market in only the last 2 decades. So this line up we will see what we taste as our selection gains age and maturity.
* Bulleit, Wild Turkey, Widow Jane, Calumet Farms, Stellum and TX from Fort Worth with age statements from 5-14 years old.
As is Bourbon's style these can be higher ABV than standard bottlings an early tea, or after dinner plans following are well advised. Main Street in Grapevine has a great selection of restaurants offering everything from Chili to Seafood Pasta to Steaks in addition to the fun packed Grapefest 2022 events with Live Music, Entertainment & Fun!
