A group from Grace will attend worship at Living Waters Lutheran Church in Cherokee, followed by a meal and time for fellowship. Living Waters is an ELCA congregation located on the Qualla Boundary, also known as the Cherokee Indian Reservation. The congregation is one of 23 ELCA American Indian/Alaska Native congregations and the only one east of the Mississippi River. Living Waters includes native traditions and language in their worship services. Grace is a ministry partner of Living Waters, which operates a large food pantry and resource center that serves people in five counties. Transportation to and from Living Waters will be provided via Grace’s van, which can seat up to 15 people. We will leave Grace at 9 AM and expect to return to Grace by 3 PM. If you’d like to be part of this group, sign up at the Sign-up Station. Questions? Contact Kimberly Dunbar, Interim Ministry Associate.
