About this Event
April 29th, 2013, I lost my mother to lung cancer. My mom was everyone's mom. I would come home from school, and my cousins, friends, and neighbors would be at our counter, having a chat with her. She would be on the phone with them, talking through their problems and victories. Her favorite food was pizza and on the day of her passing I like to celebrate her instead of mourn her.
So let's have a slice to celebrate my mom, your mom, your partner, someone else's mom that is integral to your life.
Have a slice with me at 7pm in Brooklyn, NY at Ace's Pizza or have a slice at your favorite spot. Take a pic and post with the #pizzawithmom and tag
