Native Sconnie Kirstie Kraus brings her own unique sound to modern country that compiles a mixture of bluesy pop rock under tones and funky bass lines. Kirstie's uplifting music has catchy melodic melodies with lots of movement and dynamics. Originally hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Kirstie fronted a country-rock band Thirsty Jones touring across the midwest. In 2017 Kirstie moved full-time to Nashville to continue her career as an artist and songwriter. Since then she has performed across the country and shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as Thomas Rhett, Pam Tillis, Kip Moore, Brothers Osborn, Randy Houser and many others. In 2022 Kirstie embarked on a six month National Tour to support the release of her debut album ‘Yes You Can’ comprising eleven tracks including her smash hits ‘Bird’, ‘Thirsty’ and ‘Silver’. The ‘Yes You Can’ album brought Kirstie accolades such as 5x nominee for Women of Country Best of and The Josie Music Awards (Largest Independent Music Award Show). This past year Kirstie was introduced to her producer Jeff Huskins, Dolby Atmos Producer at BMG, and is currently recording new music at Sound Stage Studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
