A morning of fun educational events about our river and wetlands.Program:
8am: Birdwatching for Beginners - lead by Dubbo Field Naturalists
9am: Walk & talk of the lost wetland of Police Paddock, and success stories and threats to our river and wetlands today, including the Macquarie Marshes. Hear from a range of community environmental groups.
10am: Lost Wetlands Regatta (like the Henley-on-Todd Regatta in Alice Springs) - start building your boat now for a fun new event! We plan to hold the regatta on a different lost wetland every year.
Cold drinks stand and a few community group stalls.

Categories: Solo adult, team adult (as many people as you want in your boat), solo U18, team U18, mixed adult & U18.

Entry is free!
Location: Police Paddock, Dubbo (northern end of Brisbane St).
Note this event is being organised by volunteers and with no funding, so we will do our best to answer your enquiries etc but at times there may be a delay.
