About this Event
Join us for a calming and creative sewing session in honour of World Sleep Day, where we will come together to craft beautifully soft, sustainable sleep masks designed to encourage rest, nurture wellbeing, and celebrate the simple joy of slowing down. Using reclaimed and repurposed fabrics, we will guide you through gentle hand‑sewing techniques, helping you shape and stitch your own comfortable mask while enjoying relaxed conversation, quiet focus, and the soothing rhythm of making something by hand.
This friendly workshop welcomes complete beginners as well as confident sewists, offering a peaceful space to unwind, share stories, and learn practical skills that support better sleep and more mindful evenings. All materials are provided, though you’re warmly invited to bring any favourite scraps of cotton or jersey you would love to upcycle into something soft and personal.
You will leave with a handmade sleep mask and the sense of ease that comes from an hour or two spent crafting in good company—an intentional pause in a busy world, stitched together with care, community, and a little bit of comfort.
