The coastal shorelines in Texas are extremely important for breeding shorebirds in the summer, wintering shorebird species during the winter, and thousands of birds that just migrate through during the spring and fall. Celebrate World Shorebirds Day with us and learn all about the the shorebird species that rely on our healthy coastal ecosystems and the conservation actions that are being put into practice in our area through our local coastal bird conservation biologist, Justin LeClaire, from the Coastal Bend & Bays Estuaries Program at 11AM
