About this Event
The World Series of Birding is a “competitive” big day, where teams set out to observe as many species of birds as possible. The Nature Center Nuthatches will be competing in the "ambassador" category. This means we are less about the competition and more about bringing folks together to learn about birds, have fun, and raise money to support the nature center. We want you (any age, background, experience) to join our team!
On the day of the World Series of Birding (May 11th), come to the nature center any time between 7am and 3pm. We will have binoculars for you to borrow and will conduct short birding walks throughout the day. We will also have bird-themed games and activities set up around the property. You can hang around for an hour or all day long!
It is free to join. After you complete this Eventbrite registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the team. Once you have joined the team, you can encourage family members and friends to make donations on the Nature Center Nuthatches team page. All money raised will go to support environmental education efforts at the nature center.

CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
