Dear Friends,A World Religion Day commemoration will be held on Sunday, January 18, at the Sanctuary of the United Church, 421 St Paul Street, Kamloops. Doors open at 1:30 pm, with the program scheduled to start at 2 pm.
The planning committee chose to have as the theme, “Peace”. Their hope was to have presentations by young people from the participants, followed by small group discussions.
The use of “Arts” such as song, music, drama/skits, poetry, stories is
encouraged to enhance the program.
Social time is suggested for 4pm with labeled finger food refreshments offered from all contributors.
Art Supplies will be available at a children’s table area during the program.
Please contact a member of the planning group or David, if you have any comments, suggestions, or questions.
Let us know about the following requests for service:
1) Presentations on the theme of “Peace”, 3-5 minute duration, suggestion to have youth presenters.
2) Volunteers needed to facilitate the small group discussions.
