About this Event
A world premiere of a major new work for solo piano composed by award winning composer Benjamin Krause, and performed by concert pianist Peter Gach, who has performed both in the United States and abroad.
Peter is offering this premier, inspiried by the Zen Teaching, "Though the Eight Winds may blow, IT is not disturbed,” to benefit Mountain Gate, a Zen Buddhist community. At the beginning of the concert, composer Benjamin Krause will speak in person briefly about the composition and Mitra Bishop, Roshi, head of Mountain Gate will give a short talk on the Eight Winds Zen teaching.
