We recently celebrated our 20th Anniversary at the magnificent Mulder Chapel in Warwick NY. One man, videographer Philip Miller, with four cameras made a beautiful video of five brilliant artists. This is a free event.The video features performances by two of our Grand Scholarship recipients: Ryan Soeyadi, Masters in Piano Performance from Juilliard and Esther Chae, receiving her Masters in Cello Perfromance from Juilliard this year. They represent $34,000 of the $207,000 we've given in 78 music scholarships.
Also in the film are performances by more experienced artists including Charles Mokotoff, Masters in Guitar Performance from Ithaca College, John Cimino, baritone and winner of the First International Pavarotti Competition, and E'lissa Jones, full time music teacher in Warwick, former backup singer to Wilson Pickett and arguably the most dynamic performer in the Hudson Valley. Shavon Lloyd, another Grand Scholarship recipient was scheduled to perform, but unfortunately was sick that day.
