About this Event
For over 30 years, World Ocean Day has been celebrated to bring international attention to the conservation and protection of our ocean planet. Join the National Aquarium at the Animal Care and Rescue Center for a classroom ocean exploration program where Scouts will learn about the ocean’s different zones, the animals that dwell there and the environmental issues posing threats to this ecosystem. They will also review ways we can all work together to protect and restore the ocean.
Due to limited parking and seating in the lobby, this will be a drop-off program. All participating Scouts will receive a National Aquarium patch.
- Ages: 5-12 (Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts)
- Cost: $18 per Scout
- Minimum/Maximum Participation: 12/24
Tickets purchased through Eventbrite are specifically for the Girl Scout program and do not include general admission to the Aquarium. However, program participants are eligible for discounted Aquarium admission.
