We are holding the World Nettle Eating Contest at the Cider farm on the Saturday 22nd of June. Join us from 3pm onwards, Competition starts at 4.30ish. Participants eat the leaves of stinging nettles from 2 foot lengths. Those who have eaten the most Nettle leaves by the end of the 30 minute period are crowned Nettle Queen and Nettle King receiving a large Cup each to take away for the year and engrave their names in and return for next year's event.
All are welcome to partake and Watch.
LIVE Music- The Skalatans will be playing first then Look Around Corners will be playing into the evening.
Tortilla Cantina will be serving Mexican food and Olivers Kitchen- Apple wood smoked pulled pork baps and Cider Sausage baps.
The Tasting Room will be open as usual with our range of awardwinning Ciders, local beers including a Nettle IPA, wines, mead etc.
Have a stroll in the orchards or relax in the Cider Garden
