Jireh Calo is a celebrated Filipina vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and educator based in Boston, Massachusetts. Raised in Manila, she skillfully combines her rich cultural heritage with the improvisational spirit of jazz, sacred oral traditions, and global rhythms—spanning African, Latin, hip hop, and soul influences soundcloud.com+10zumix.org+10adobomagazine.com+10.
A proud summa cum laude graduate in Contemporary Writing & Production from Berklee College of Music, she also holds a Master’s in Global Jazz Performance from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute gmanetwork.com+4zumix.org+4zumix.org+4. During her time at Berklee, Jireh funded her own education through independent gigs and the release of her first EP with her band, the Jireh Calo Project gmanetwork.com.
