Hi ladies,I wanted to give a plug for an event that I'm hosting in October. October 10th is World Mental Health Day and the organization Still I Run is hosting a virtual run that weekend. I'm excited to host an in person run here in Herndon.
As the nations first nonprofit dedicated to promoting the benefits of running for mental health, Still I Run inspires, supports, and unites individuals of all backgrounds and experiences in their journey to better mental health through running.
Anyway, I'm hosting a 5K run (NOT RACE) in Herndon on Saturday, October 11th at 8 am. I hope to have runners and walkers of all abilities join us. I know many of you are training for races this fall and this will be a great way to start a long run, or just have a few chill miles.
The run does have some cool swag, but there's also a no swag option for $12.69! We should have some giveaways and I'll try to bake something delicious too.
The deadline to sign up for the Swag option is August 31 and the no Swag option is October 10.
I do ask that if you plan to come, you either select the no swag or give a donation to Still I Run.
