World Meditation Day Celebration - Champaign, IL

The United Nations recognizes December 21st as World Meditation Day. The UN General Assembly has invited Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a globally renowned Meditation Teacher, Humanitarian, and Ambassador of Peace, to lead a global meditation for people all across the world.

Let us celebrate this occasion by joining the meditation with Gurudev live on telecast, to uplift and empower all of Champaign County. We will come together with music, community, and an inspiring celebration of life, as we aim to uplift the campus and broader community.

The UN writes "To raise awareness about meditation and its benefits, the General Assembly proclaimed 21 December as World Meditation Day, recalling the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health."
