Join us in Annapolis for a day of advocacy, dancing, and community as we come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!
This year’s theme, "I Am Valuable. Invest in Me!", emphasizes the importance of recognizing the worth, potential, and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome as we advocate to protect and sustain critical disability funding.

📍 St. Anne’s Parish House & Hall – Celebration & Dance Party | 3:30 – 5:00 PM (Limited capacity – RSVP required)
🗣️ Celebration at Lawyers Mall (2:00 – 3:00 PM)
Start the celebration with a powerful rally at Lawyers Mall, where self-advocates and allies will share their stories and speak out for people with Down syndrome. Feel free to bring a sign and share your message with the world!
🎉 Dance Party & Celebration at St. Anne’s Parish House & Hall (3:30 – 5:00 PM)
After the rally, join us at St. Anne’s Parish House & Hall (199 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401) for an afternoon of music, snacks, dancing, and celebration! You’ll hear from Marylanders with Down syndrome, enjoy refreshments, and even get the chance to meet and dance with some legislators.
🎧 DJ Anderson—a talented DJ who happens to have Down syndrome—will be spinning the beats and keeping the energy high on the dance floor!
🥤 Enjoy light refreshments and snacks while you mingle with fellow advocates.
💃 Get a chance to meet and dance with legislators as we continue the celebration!📌

🔹 The celebration will take place in the hall on Duke of Gloucester St., NOT in the church in the center of Church Circle.
🔹 GPS Tip: Enter 203 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401, then go to the building immediately to the left (down the hill).

🔹 Wheelchair-Accessible Entrance: Use the back entrance of St. Anne’s Parish House & Hall. For GPS directions, enter 146 Charles St., Annapolis, MD 21401 (this will take you across from the Parish parking lot). 🚨 Do not park here—it is reserved for the school, and unauthorized vehicles may be towed.
