The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is a globally recognised day, which always falls on the third Sunday in November. The day was introduced to remember the millions killed on the roads around the world and to allow the bereaved to join together and remember the lives of those they have lost, and will always love. The day also acknowledges the work of the emergency services, in responding to road traffic collisions. Our service is open to people of all faiths, and those of no faith.
You are welcome to arrive from 2:00pm onwards, the Service of Remembrance will commence at 2.30pm.
If you would like to submit the name of your loved one to be read out, or their photograph for inclusion in the service, please email it to the West Midlands coordinator, Lucy, no later than Monday 8th November - [email protected]
This will be a time to reflect, remember and honour the lives of those we have lost.
Light refreshments will be provided after the service.
For those unable to attend, the service will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube as soon as possible after it has taken place.
