Join us as we come together to honor those lost to traffic violence, comfort loved ones, and call for safer streets for everyone.This brief outdoor ceremony will include readings, a shared moment of silence, and the placement of flowers in remembrance of lives cut short on our local roads.
Where: Field area beside Route 6 on Pope’s Island (visible from the roadway; parking near Noah's Place Playground)
When: Arrive by 2:15 PM. Ceremony begins promptly at 2:30 PM and concludes at 3:00 PM.
Participants are encouraged to bring personal tokens of remembrance. Yellow flowers will also be provided.
Individual memorials will also be taking place prior to this event to honor individual victims in our region. Details for these are here:
