World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims - West Midlands and West MerciaYou are invited to attend this event to remember those who have had their lives taken in road traffic collisions.

If you are able to attend please RSVP no later than Monday 4th November. During the service the photos of those we are remembering will be displayed, and their names will be read out. If you would like to remember a loved one in this way, please submit names and photographs to group coordinator, Lucy Harrison, no later than Monday 4th November.

World Day of Remembrance (WDR)
The WDR for Road Traffic Victims is a globally recognised day, which always falls on the third Sunday of November. The day was introduced to remember the millions killed on the roads around the world, and to allow the bereaved to join together to reflect and talk of the lives of those they miss and will always love. The day also allows us to acknowledge the emergency services, and the challenging work they do in responding to road traffic collisions.
This service is open to people of all faiths, and people of no faith.
You are welcome to arrive from 2pm onwards, the Service of Remembrance will start at 2.30pm.
This will be a time to reflect, remember and honour those we have lost. For those who wish to stay and share experiences with others from across the region, light refreshments will be available after
the service.
This service is organised by the RoadPeace West Midlands and West Mercia local groups.
