About this Event
World Cuisines is a Barcelona based foodies group. Once a month, we get together to enjoy a different culture’s cuisine.
Event will be held at a gourmet restaurant belonging to that specific Culture. This month's cuisine is Polish at Polka Bar!

Appetizers
- Pierogi de Carn
Stuffed with meat and fermented cabbage
- Arengada del Bàltic
All the flavors of the Baltic Sea, with our Polish ceviche, which combines marinated herring with potatoes.
- Say Cheese
Smoked sheep's cheese medallion, served with forest fruit jam. Typical Polish street food.
Entrees
- Sabores del Bosque
The bigos, fermented cabbage stew. It contains all the flavors of the forest: Mushrooms, meat and plums. The national dish of Poland.
- Kopernik was Right
Polish sausage served with mashed potatoes. Originally from Torun, so it was possibly Copernicus' favorite dish.
- Gulash del Bandido
A traditional stew made with beef and vegetables. Served on a potato pancake base. An ideal combination. Also known as crepe in Hungarian.
Desert&Drinks
- Szarlotka (Apple Pie)
- One drink of choice (Wine or Polish beer)
