Check out the Collage Nebraska exhibit and make your own collage to celebrate World Collage Day, May 11Artists will be in the gallery 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with materials for “make and take” collages (Created in 2018 by the Kolaj Institute and celebrated on the second Saturday of May, World Collage Day unites artists around the world.)
“Collage Nebraska,” an exhibit celebrating a wide-ranging art form, runs May 2-26, 2024, at the Hot Shops Art Center, 1301 Nicholas St., Omaha. Artists will host an opening reception 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 4 in the gallery.
Artist Carol Fettin has made collages for years and has organized artists from across Nebraska to celebrate and consider the art form.
