About this Event
Join Wolverhampton LGBT+, the Methodist Church, and the community for a moment to reflect on those lost due to AIDS. But, also to commemorate the progress made over the many years.
From 13:30, congregate at West Park's Cafe.
Start from 14:00 with a walk to the AIDS memorial tree.
Followed by Words by Linda Gilson, and the ability to share words as a community before going on a walk around the park and vacating in our own time.
Whilst signing up is not required for this event, it will help us communicate should any short-notice communications be needed.
Our organisation is a registered charity (1193696), all donations help us to put on future support sessions and activities. We operate a "Donate as you feel" scheme for this event, whereby if you wish to make a donation you can do so by ordering a "donate as you feel" ticket rather than a free one and choose the amount you wish to donate!
Wolverhampton LGBT+ take seriously the safety and comfort of all volunteers and participants. We, as a charity, have the right to cancel tickets and deny attendance if it is found that individuals are disruptive to events or upsetting/offending others by way of language or behaviour.
