Workshop Descriptions:
12:00-1:15 Connection and Embrace: The Language of Tango for All Levels
A workshop dedicated to exploring connection and embrace as fundamental elements of tango. Through practical exercises and simple phrases, participants will learn to improve communication with their dance partner, achieving a comfortable and effective embrace for social dancing.
1:45-3:00. Creative Sacadas for Dancing to Pugliese and D’Arienzo
This workshop will focus on various types of sacadas adapted to the musicality of two iconic orchestras: Pugliese and D’Arienzo. Participants will learn sequences that combine precision, fluidity, and energy, allowing dancers to express themselves authentically according to each musical style’s character.
3:15-4:30 Turns and Changes of Direction: Technique and Creativity (Intermediate Level)
This workshop will focus on turn technique, integrating changes of direction and dynamic movement in limited spaces. Practical sequences will be taught to help dancers move safely and precisely on the dance floor, incorporating classic elements of tango salón.
