WORKSHOP: VOICING YOUR TRUE NATURE

FIND YOUR VOICE. VOICE YOUR SOUL. HEAL THE WORLD.

This land has become a healing space after 13 years of regeneration… join us on the farm for a transformational workshop with The Brothers Koren, featuring a conversation + Q&A with farmer John Chester.

The workshop begins in the garden before walking through The Fruit Basket & up to Alan York Lookout to take in sweeping views of the farm, where John, Thorald and Isaac will speak to giving nature a voice, followed by a Q&A.

During this exploratory and empowering Voicing Your Nature workshop, the brothers set a safe space for you to reclaim your power and connection to your body through a series of practical and experiential practices that require no prior musical or singing ability. Through simple and fun exercises, they will help you ground down into the gravity of your whole body instrument and sound out powerfully what it feels like to be you and alive. Come home to your whole body instrument and discover your unique sound.

The brothers’ method invites you away from performing and welcomes you into a real time experience of your voice, reclaiming a new relationship to your own expressive self, deepening a connection to the music of the Earth and the resonance of life. The benefits are clear: from finding new freedom and trust in your singing and speaking voice, to moving through voice trauma and learning to use your voice as a sacred healing tool. These are joyful and rewarding practices that you can integrate into your daily life.

No musical or singing experience required. Beginners encouraged!

The workshop ends at 4pm & will be immediately followed by a community gathering in The Fruit Basket featuring local food, beer & wine, and live music by Brothers Koren & The Kin (included with tickets).
