Join us for a hands-on experience at Green Hive’s Workshop Taster and Open Day! This is a great opportunity to learn about our community enterprise, explore how we promote circularity through reclamation and reuse of materials, and see the tools and techniques our volunteers use.This session is open to anyone looking to do good in our community and environment, so whether you're skilled with your hands or never held a saw in your life this taster session is suitable for all abilities!
Event Schedule:
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Green Hive Workshop Tour
Get an inside look at our workspace, and hear an introduction to community enterprise and sustainability practices. Learn how we incorporate circularity, reclamation, and reuse into a craft-making setting.
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Refreshments & Snacks
Take a break and enjoy some light refreshments while mingling with fellow attendees and Green Hive team members.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Tools, Processes & Equipment Showcase
Explore the variety of tools and equipment used in Green Hive Workshop, and get a better understanding of the processes behind our craft work and sustainable projects.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Group Workshop InductionInterested in volunteering with Green Hive?
This session will include a health and safety induction for prospective volunteers and information on our past, current, and upcoming projects. It's a great chance to get involved and make a difference in your community.
