Come and join us for a creative workshop hosted by The Wellington Embroiderers’ Guild. The workshop supports the exhibition Petals and Threads: Patterns in Nature and Needle, a collaboration between plant artist and ecologist Kate Mc Alpine and The Wellington Embroiderers’ Guild.In this workshop you’ll be using nature as a resource, including seeds, seed pods and leaves. Participants will explore techniques for combining traditional embroidery with natural materials to make one-of-a-kind textile art pieces.
All materials will be provided and the workshop is koha.
