WORKSHOP SINGING: Water SongsWinter is coming, and with it lots of rain... and so in her fourth singing workshop Greta Wardęga teaches us songs from Serbia and Poland that talk about water. We will sing to rivers & waterfalls, about fountains & springs, and with harmonies that flow like waves & currents.
Traditional singing allows us to reconnect with our natural voice and learn to listen to others. The magic of this singing when we are aware of the other, says Svetlana Spajić, singer and researcher of traditional Serbian singing: “In harmony, double voices become one, with a common movement and aspiration, since without the other, I do not exist, nor can my sound exist”.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in discovering their natural voice and improving their breathing and singing techniques.
Be sure to bring comfortable clothes, a bottle of water and a good mood!
