This FREE Workshop will teach you best practices for planting in our local environment such as: choosing the right native or climate appropriate plants, planting successfully into a sheet mulched landscape, setting up a drip irrigation system, and maintaining a new landscape. Anyone can attend!This workshop is supported by the City of Petaluma as an additional resource for residents who are interested in applying for the Mulch Madness program which provides eligible residents free materials to sheet mulch their existing lawn. The Mulch Madness program is now offering a free plant delivery service and this Right Plant, Right Place Workshop is a requirement if folks want to receive free plants.
